I need to write an 8 page paper focusing on Hinduism's Krishna myths that celebrate the triumph of the small versus big. A book for the class (The Self and Cycle of Samsara) has some in it, but I need a little more information than just the 3-5 myths that it gives me.

Where can I find good sources for some Krishna myths?

Describe the role of the cell cycle in normal cell versus a cancer cell?
I read the best way to cut laundry costs is to use cold water. What is the cost trade-off between using more laundry detergent with cold water, instead of using warm water? Would there be an added benefit of better color retention with cold water instead of warm? (also possibly more 'clean smell' to your clothes).

In other words how much does it cost per cycle to use warm water, and what if you instead use cold and then applied those savings to using more detergent?

What are disatvantages , such as poorer stain removal etc.

more laundry detergent versus hot water - which more economical?
okay, so there is a foul odor that I noticed the day after along with "spotting." I am not sure what other women who have noticed spotting/ bleeding afterwards define it as, but it's nothing like what you would see as an effect of menstral cycle. It is not so much as blood either but a little red and a little clear and a little beige in color so iwould call it discharge versus spotting/bleeding and it is holding the foul odor. I've looked on other sites and some answers related the vaginal scent present after sex as a result of old semen. We used a condom but is this a sign that it could have burst and the old semen is actually the discharge? Please help me! I'm scared!

The First Annual Rock & Pop Best Song Competition (2009 Edition).
Part 15 of the first round. More to come, and you don't have to have voted in previous parts to get started here.
Guest Commentary by R&P's own David.

MATCH UP 1
Phoenix - "Lisztomania"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BJDNw7o6so
Though active since the late 1990s, French alternative band Phoenix did not become international superstars until 2009. This colorful, energetic single helped them achieve the feat. It shares its title with a 1975 musical starring Roger Daltrey as Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (and, of course, featuring Ringo Starr as the Pope).
VERSUS
Wilco - "Bull Black Nova"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pMJpLEXrT4
"Would you be interested in going to a Wilco concert with me?"
"Definitely! I love Wilco"
"So I guess we WILCO to the show together!"
"...not anymore"
Boisterous French synth pop not for you? Perhaps this sinister song from Chicago's enduring and influential Wilco is. Found on their well-received self-titled album, the song's lyrics are told from the perspective of a man who has murdered his significant other.

MATCH UP 2
Kid Cudi - "Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)" [feat. MGMT and Ratatat]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xzU9Qqdqww
Kanye West's quirky, stylish protégé collaborates with indie dance duos MGMT and Ratatat on this song from his debut album. Cudi has been praised by critics as representing "a promising new phase in the genre's evolution." (Entertainment Weekly)
VERSUS
Mos Def - "Life in Marvelous Times"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2ZrVS5yNdo
The lead single from The Ecstatic, celebrated by critics and fans as a return to form for the hip hop icon and actor after the disappointing sales and poor reviews which befell his last album. The rousing song is a survey of his life and career and society at large.

MATCH UP 3
Porcupine Tree - "I Drive the Hearse"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj2pWB2S_Jk
The fourteenth and final part of a 55-minute song cycle by the English progressive metal band, the aim of which is to "humanize the detached media reportage" (Steven Wilson) of violent crimes and disasters.
VERSUS
Wavves - "So Bored"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF9Tu35-pBo
Hailed as the catchiest cut from the lo-fi/noise pop/surf band's sophmore album. Lead singer Nathan Williams made headlines when he, high on ecstasy and Valium, fought his drummer and crudely insulted the crowd at the Barcelona Primavera Sound Festival. Their European tour was subsequently canceled.

MATCH UP 4
Backstreet Boys - "Shattered"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI_DVkCysFA
The penultimate song from the teen pop sensations-turned-adult contemporary stalwarts' most recent album, This Is Us.
VERSUS
Diddy & Dirty Money - "Love Come Down"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au7W8tbSFtU
His own music has never seemed to be the entrepreneur and fashion designer's top priority. This single's failure to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 perhaps suggests he should try harder.

MATCH UP 5
Three Days Grace - "Break"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4VCpTZye10
Blame Canada. The lead single from the Canadian band's third album. Bassist Brad Walst explained the song's theme is "breaking away from bad influences." In case you couldn't tell from the mega-earnest, angsty chorus.
VERSUS
Thousand Foot Krutch - "Fire It Up"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOJee120Po8
Blame Canada, again. Here's a mouthful: Canadian Christian nü-metal. This is the third single from their fifth album, Welcome to the Masquerade. As featured in the trailer for one of the year's worst films, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

You, the community here at Yahoo! Answers, nominated 350+ songs, your favorites of the year, to face-off in head-to-head battles, tournament style, to determine the best songs of this calendar year.

I ask that you listen to all of the songs... don't vote on name alone. Listen to them, weigh them, and then choose with reason, which song is the better of the two in the given match ups.
Star it, and try to get as many voters to this thing as you can.
All comments are meant to be in good humor.

If you have any trouble with any links, or any of them are broken -- let me know, and I'll fix them ASAP. Thanks.

So, THE QUESTION: which songs do you subjectively prefer of each these match ups (even if it's only the lesser of two evils in your eyes)?

R&P: Let's decide -- What are the best songs of 2009 (Round 1 - Part 15)?
I have recently be having "outer-course" with my boyfriend. We have not have intercourse yet. Last night, while we were messing around, he was grinding on top of me and ejaculated on me very close to my vagina--not inside. He was not wearing a condom either. How likely is it for me to be pregnant? My period just ended the night before. I won't be able to tell if I'm pregnant because my period has always been irregular. It can skip 1-3 months. So I'm getting a little paranoid. Can someone please tell me what I should do? I've heard about the Plan B pill, but the effects include having a very big change in my menstruation cycle. One more thing is that he fingered me after ejaculating. I'm not sure if his hands touched the semen. So does that increase the chances of preganancy if he did indeed get some on his finger?

How likely is it for me to be pregnant if he ejaculates on my vagina versus "in" my vagina?
What is forgiveness? How to forgive (especially people Not sorry or thinking they did nothing wrong! or for something really major or repeated, even if they are sorry)? How do I know I've forgiven versus being plagued, haunted, and triggered emotionally by traumatic memories? What about people with bitterness, anger, sadness, PTSD or who act out because of what was done to them, are they still capable of having these things and forgiving while they have this? Or is forgiveness not having any emotion at all except happiness, or is that false happiness escapism and denial and not dealing with the facts?
And what if the victim or survivor has tried everything to "forgive" (such as repeated counseling, going to church and asking God for forgiveness and help to forgive oneself and others, medications, hospitalizations (even for the physical traumas), but these things still impact and plague the person with not only flooding memories but also actual triggers and if the person has to live with or face the triggers that can't be avoided no matter how much one tries.
How to keep this from eating the person up alive and continuing to destroy that person's life?

Examples are sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic abuse (with lying cheating and denying), (possible) murder, emotional abuse, financial abuse, spiritual abuse, false accusations (and especially a combination of these that may have contributed to other bad occurrences like a domino effect or cycle that doesn't stop or even death)

Please help: Need some detailed information on forgiveness, please?

I Have A Lot of Earth Science To Get Done Can Someone PLEASE HELP?
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0110/Van_Hollen_Blame_Bush.html

I've heard a lot of "Blame Bush" statements from the far left, and they are all stupid. But this may be the stupidest of them all.

DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen, in a prepared statement released moments after Martha Coakley's abrupt concession, works to do what she couldn't: shift the blame back to Bush.

His statement:

“House Democrats have been preparing since day one last year for what we knew historically would be a very challenging election cycle. After winning five straight competitive Special Elections, the DCCC knows first hand how difficult they are and we are not taking anything for granted this cycle. The DCCC is aggressively focused on ensuring House Democrats have the resources, strategy, message, and get-out-the-vote operation necessary to win in tough districts.

“President George W. Bush and House Republicans drove our economy into a ditch and tried to run away from the accident. President Obama and congressional Democrats have been focused repairing the damage to our economy.

“Elections are about choices and this year’s Midterms will be a choice between continuing the economic progress and independent leadership that House Democrats are delivering for their districts versus Republicans who are eager to turn back the clock to the same failed Bush-Cheney policies that brought our economy to the brink of collapse.”

Why did this Democrat party chairman blame Martha Coakley's loss to Scott Brown on President George W. Bush?
One who is still regular every month. Say she has intercourse with a fertile male and she is in the favorable point of her cycle. What are the odds of a 48 year old woman becoming pregnant and giving birth versus a 20 year old woman given the same circumstances?
